Introduced in 1973, the rare, made in Japan, Minolta XK SLR 35mm film
camera (also the XM in Europe) was the first Minolta SLR with
interchangeable lenses to have an electronically controlled shutter, a
horizon traveling shutter with titanium foil curtains, the fastest
shutter speed of 1/2000s and offered interchangeable finders. This
solid, well built, fairly easy to use SLR also features five shooting
modes making it very popular with amateur and serious photographers. The
camera and lens are in excellent used condition with no fungus, mold,
cloudiness, etc. There is some wear and the odd small dent, but nothing
that affects the camera's operation. All the controls were tested and
work great including the exposure metering and self timer. The battery
compartment and camera interior are clean (uses 2 LR44 batteries). The
fast, sharp, Minolta MC Rokkor-X PG 50mm F1.4 lens has no fungus,
fogging, mold, scratches or dents and all the controls work smoothly.
This ready-to-go-shooting kit includes body & body cap, 50mm lens
with rubber hood, UV filter, accessory slide-on hot shoe, user manuals
and original leather camera case. Ships without batteries.
