Here we have an Edison Model C phonograph.  It's in original untouched condition.  I've wound it up and it whirs around smoothly, though I've not tried it with a cylinder (I'm listing a load but they look to be in pretty poor condition so wasn't sure whether I'd do one or the other some harm if I tried).
