Description & Notes: Mary Gregory Rare paneled/ribbed optic amber greenish glass pitcher with decoration of a fully period dressed boy wearing a hat, carrying a stick in the woods. This pitcher has an applied handle and integral blown pad foot. 

This is an early and original “Mary Gregory” piece produced in Czechoslovakia  in the mid-late 19th Century. The cameo-esque white-on-white  enamel is carefully applied offering fine detail to the figures draped clothing,  hair and friendly features. The background is an elaborate scene of  forested countryside.

Markings: rough snap pontil 

Condition: Real Good Antique Condition –  shows minimal use, 1.5" horizontal inner scrape chip (see last picture)

I put paper behind the chip to it can clearly be seen

For Accuracy: a vintage vase it may show expected light signs of age and use related wear.
