This minaudiere was found by me in a storage unit that I won at a local auction a few months ago. This is a beautiful piece and seems to be fully functional. There are no visible markings / stamps / hallmarks etc. so I am guessing that this was custom made for somebody in the early 1920's.

Since there were no visible markings, and I suspected this contained silver and/or gold, I took this to my friend at a local pawn shop and he scanned this in his XRF machine. To my surprise, it came back as 10k Gold.
Also, the small flimsy/wafer like piece of metal in the second photo was used as a handheld mirror while applying lipstick/makeup. I can confirm that it is indeed reflective and I could see my reflection when I held it up and checked it out.

That's about all I managed to figure out about this lovely piece. Please message me if you have any questions, thank you! :-)

This is priced just slightly higher than the spot price of this piece, based on weight.
