Vintage/Antique "J.A. Henckels TwinWorks" "Grand Prize Paris 1900 St. Louis 1904" Chef's/Butcher Knife
You are bidding on a NICE vintage/antique J.A. Henckels Twin Works Solingen Germany Knife Grand Prize. Paris 1900 & St. Louis 1904. Both of the wooden handles are still solidly mounted to the full tang of the knife with the 3 steel rivets/pins, the handles are not loose at all (see pics). There's "NO" cracks, breaks or repairs on the handles (see pics). But there's some very minor ding marks on both wooden handles (see pics). The knife actually feels good in the right and left hands. The blade is still stiff and straight after all of these years, not bent or curved at all (see pics). There's a bit of a upper curve in the belly of the cutting edge of the knife blade from sharpening it over the years, but it's not that bad at all (see pics). This is from the knife being sharpened with a steel for many many years. This is a very common thing I see in old high carbon steel blades like this one is (see all pics). "NO" chips or nicks on the cutting edge of the blade (see pics). The blade of the knife shows some typical aged carbon steel patina and stains on it.  These stains are also very normal for an old knife like this one is (see pics). Nice and "CLEAR" makers mark on the blade that reads: "J.A. Henckels Twin Works Solingen Germany" "Grand Prize. Paris 1900  St. Louis 1904" (see pics). The knife weighs in at 6.2 oz. The over all lengths the knife is 14-5/8" long. The blade of the knife is 9-1/4" long.  Please use the zoom function to inspect all photos to see the exact condition of the item.
You will not be disappointed in this vintage/antique and very RARE! "J.A. Henckels Twin Works Solingen Germany"  "Grand Prize. Paris 1900  St. Louis 1904" knife.
