It works with a power supply (included) and with 6 D batteries (not included).   Tested FM, gets excellent reception.   Didn't manage to receive any MW or SW stations but you need to be in an area which there isn't interference.   The tip of the antenna is broken off.    It needs a little grease to make it open up more freely.  Sleep button cover is missing.  See pictures for details.
