ICONS created the first licensed Star Wars prop replicas based on the original props in the Skywalker Ranch Archives. A production run of 10,000 Obi-Wan lightsabers was planned, but only about 6,000 were ultimately produced.

Numbered 1503 /10,000, this lightsaber is constructed from steel, aluminum, and hard-molded plastic with "Lucasfilm Ltd./Icons 1997" engraved on the bottom. Also included is the original foam-padded ICONS shipping box and Certificate of Authenticity with a custom acrylic display stand featuring a plaque engraved "Obi-Wan Lightsaber" and with the Star Wars, Lucasfilm, and ICONS logos
