SELTZER – SODA WATER – SYPHON BOTTLE
JACOB FABER
REGISTERED
GOOD HEALTH SELTZER
This auction is for a yellow-amber,
pyramid-shaped seltzer bottle from the bottling company of Jacob Faber. The business was most certainly located in
Brooklyn, New York. However, seltzer
bottles like this are often sought for the beautiful yellow-amber color and shape,
not necessarily from the city or geographic location of the bottling business.
Jacob Faber’s name and trademark are
listed among several other Brooklyn, NY, bottling companies in an article clipped from The
Brooklyn Citizen, dated February 13, 1937, page 12.

This example is in excellent
condition with very little signs of use.
Faber’s name is etched on the label and “Made in Czechoslovakia” is
etched on the base. One will often find
chips and wear on the widest points at the base of a syphon like this due to
contact with other bottles. But this one
only has some minor fleabites. It is
very clean on the inside and the photos will show how transparent it is. It comes complete with the metal top and
glass tube. The metal spout top bears
the name of a different company.
Please look at all the photos and
contact me if you have questions or need clarification of anything here. I have collected, traded, and sold seltzer
bottles for almost 40 years, so please bid with confidence knowing that what
you purchase is authentic.
