Del Prado Napoleon at War #30 Lieutenant-General William Beresford 1811


A General in the British Army and in command of the Anglo/Portuguese army at the battle of Albuera on 16 May 1811 wheee he was saved from defeat by British infantry. Fought alongside Wellington in the Peninsular War. The Peninsular War was the military conflict fought in the Iberian Peninsula by Spain, Portugal and Great Britain against invading and occupying forces of the First French Empire during the Napoleonic Wars.

The Iberian peninsula comprises of Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar.


General Beresford is in new unused unopened condition and the magazine I bought as used but in good condition and has a lot of information.
