The antenna has a wide range of adjustment. The battery compartment (see picture 4) is covered with a faceplate that comes off by unscrewing two Philips head screws. I've included some fairly fresh AA batteries.

The compartment for the battery that powers the clock is removed with one screw. I have not included the required AAA battery, since even a brand new battery does not enable the clock to register the proper time; hence, there are no alarm or snooze functions.

The dial, however, does light up by flipping the "snooze" toggle switch once. To turn the light off requires that you turn the tuner on and off twice!

Do not expect ultra-high-fidelity from the unit's one speaker, but the sound is decent and undistorted at lower volumes.

The radio measures 7.5" x 5.5" x 2.75". Weight: 1 pound, 11 ounces.
