A rare, WW1 British army BRASS 'NEW PIONEER' EQUIPMENT PROTECTOR (aka BUTTONSTICK). This item was used to protect the uniform and parts of web equipment when brass buttons and the fittings on 1908 pattern equipment were being polished. This is the classic standard British army protector from the mid-late WW1 period. Issued and used. The protector has a slight crack in the brass which I have highlighted with an arrow (please see photos which form part of the description). A few slight dents and imperfections; please remember this item is over 100 years old and went through a world war! I would describe it as in good-average condition for age.
Bidding to start at just £4.99 (No Reserve & FREE 2nd class P&P for UK customers)
