Note on fit: These trousers would suit best a human of svelte build and average height, whose jeans size tends to be W 30 L 30 or W 31 L 30, and who is sufficiently slender-legged to slide into them. It must be emphasized that the legs have been taken in to create an extremely tapered fit. If you are dubious about your foot passing through a 12-inch (circumference) opening that has little to no stretch, these may not be for you — unless, of course, you opt to let the legs out. On this score, it is important to note that the trousers have been taken in in such a way as to enable reversal of the alteration (see Photo 10). However, you may wish to enlist the aid of a professional, if you do not feel confident enough to do it yourself. At any rate, please carefully go over all the measurements listed above, and all photos provided, before purchasing. No returns will be granted based on fit unless the measurements are shown to be vastly inaccurate — a highly unlikely eventuality.

Condition:

* In excellent shape for half-century-old garment
* It must be underscored that these trousers have been altered by a previous owner in two respects: (1) as aforenoted, they have been taken in approximately an inch at the waist with seam running down into front right pocket, resulting in a certain, very slight asymmetry (readily undone with a seam ripper) (see Photo 3); and (2) the legs have been radically tapered down to a hem/opening with a mere 12-inch circumference (6” laid flat), albeit with all the extra fabric and original serged seam preserved, so that they might be taken out, quite easily, if desired (see Photo 10)
* Low price takes garment’s altered state (RIP William Hurt), and the possibility that you may need to have a professional let them out for you (at a cost of no more than $25), fully into account
* Small worn spot along left thigh; does not penetrate fabric
* Some loose threads along seams
* Original Wrangler rope logo label frayed a bit along lower edge but intact (see Photo 6)
* Talon zipper slightly patinated, as is to be expected (and even desired), but in perfect working order
* Wrangler rope logo brass button in lovely shape
* No discernible stains
* No odors or other afflictions
* Freshly hand laundered with hypoallergenic, ecologically conscientious laundry liquid

Comments: Whether riding the bull with Debra Wranger or getting its horns with Molly Wrangwald et al. at Wrangle North High, these 100% wreal wrope-logo Wrangler tattersall trousers are warranted to hit the sartorial bullseye with every wear.
