Overall the vise operates well and looks great. There aren't any cracks, breaks, or repairs. The main screw is straight and the threads have little to no visible wear. The main nut is in good condition and there is no interference throughout the range, 1 finger can drive the screw in either direction to its limits. The jaws align well and the spring provides a nice smooth motion.

The mounting stud appears to be original and is slightly bent. The handle is not perfectly straight but the brass ends are secure and they do not appear to have ever been removed.

The vise was stripped down and has been polished. The current finish is raw and the vise has not been painted, oiled or waxed. A light amount of grease was applied to the screw threads. There are many color options which will look great on this vise so I figured I'd let the new owner choose or leave it bare.
