Up for sale is this very rare vintage Ludwig Drums Twin Channel die cast aluminum hoop, chrome plated.

This one is for 12 inch diameter drums (usually tom toms, but I had this on a soprano snare drum). It's got 8 holes and is for the batter side (no cut-outs for snare wires).

It's in excellent condition for its age. There are little "pips" in the chrome all the way around and a scuff on one side. On the inside, just inside the lip, there is a small 2cm-long place where the chrome flaked off. See the photos.

This is a heavy and tall hoop. It weighs 2 lbs 6oz. by itself without packaging.
