Very cool working AM transistor radio in the
shape of a Radio Shack D-cell battery. This novelty radio was made in
Korea in the 1970's and it works great. The outside is made of metal and
illustrated with the exact graphics you'd find on a Radio Shack
flashlight battery - "Radio Shack - STEEL CLAD - 1.5V D - New Formula".
The volume and tuning dials are on the sides, the speaker is on top, and
the 9-volt battery compartment on the bottom which is embossed "Radio
Shack - A DIVISION OF TANDY CORPORATION - KOREA". The radio is in great
shape with no noticeable cracks, dents or breaks. Make your bid on this
vintage transistor radio that they just don't make anymore. Battery not
included. 41/4" tall.
