Antique porcelain carafe with lid/stopper made by D & C of Limoges, France and decorated by White's Art Co. of Chicago.
Lovely white porcelain carafe with lid, hand decorated with gold enameling or gold paste. It is 10 1/2" tall. Base diameter is 4 1/4".
The D & Co. ( Delinieres & Co.) mark dates to from 1894 to 1900. There is also a red decorating mark from White's Art Company.
The condition is very good with no chips or cracks. There is a loss of gold on the interior of the mouth of the bottle.
There is also a loss of gold on the base of the lid/stopper as shown. It has a replacement cork.
