It is truly "in the black" and unrestored.    It needs wired.  It retains the original porcelain lampholder inside.  

This is your chance to have an original hammered light for restoration.  I do not have the original glass that possibly came with it.  I am not sure that it had glass to begin with.  Traces of old red paint..
