This is my favorite F-mount walk-around lens. It is the perfect lens to put on your camera and leave the rest of your lenses at home. It has always been a very popular lens and I am surprised Nikon never made an updated version. It works well on the Z mount with the FTZ adapter.
I hate to part with this lens because I love it so much. However, I recently bought a Z8 and this is my last F-Mount lens.
The only negative I could ever say about this lens is the motors are rather noisy when shooting video but that was not its intended use. It has been that way since new and is not a defect. I had two of these lenses over the years and both behaved the same way.
This lens has been taken care of and handled with care. This is a smoke-free home. I hope you enjoy this lens as much as I do.
