Lightolier PLC DHC X10 Appliance Outlet Plug-In Noise Block Filter 5A CPLCPIF5

Lightolier Compose PLC CPLCPIF5 brown plug-in noise filter. Used to isolate "noisy" electrical appliances and preventing them from interfering with Decora Home Control (DHC) and X10 networks. Certain electrical appliances generate electrical interference, or "noise", onto the AC wiring network. This "noise" may prevent proper command signal transmission from Controllers to Receiver modules. When the noisy appliance is isolated by plugging it into this noise filter the stray noise is filtered out. This is rated 5A 120V 60Hz AC only. Each is individually packaged with instructions. • When the offending appliance is isolated and plugged into the CPLCPIF5 Noise Filter, which is in turn plugged into a receptacle, stray noise is filtered out, ensuring a clear signal
• Used to block interference from appliances, electronic ballasts and home electronics in order to insure top performance from DHC/X10 systems
• Used to block signal leakage (attenuation) caused by capacitive filters and electronic power supplies
