This is a very heavy and efficient speaker, with a 2" voice coil it can handle up to 250 watts RMS and 500 watts peak. Pumping out the sound is just what this speaker was designed for with a SPL rating of 92 dB and a practical range from 30 Hz. to 4000 Hz. you will find that the EM-TL2501A-8 is a great speaker to replace that blown driver, or for any new project you have in the wings.
