To comply with Child Safety Legislation EN13120 8.2.33, we and our suppliers have implemented new child safety mechanisms.
Child safety cords- Installation height unknown. This is essential so that control lengths can be adjusted, otherwise all of our control cords will be supplied with controls compliant with EN 13120. This is up to a maximum of 1 metre long (100cm, 1000mm, 39 1/3 inch).
Please note: If using a blind in a room accessible to a child or pet, you must ensure that the cord is tied up safely out of reach (1.5 meters above floor level). For safety we recommend moving beds, cots and furniture away from windows fitted with a blind that has a side control mechanism. Do not tie cords together to form a loop and ensure they do not twist to create a loop.

2. The item and any packaging must be in the same condition as it was when you received it and in a re-saleable condition and not altered.

We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors and all goods and products are subject to availability. blindsbypost shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. We recommend that you make arrangements for trades people to carry out work on your behalf only after your order has been delivered, you have checked that there are no defects and that all components are complete.
Refusal of delivery and/or multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts may result in re-delivery charges. Items will be attempted on 2 occasions, with calling cards left, and held by the couriers for up to 4 days to allow you to re-arrange delivery. After this timeframe, these will be returned to us. Returned items are only held up to 4 weeks and may be disposed of after this time.

Damages / Replacement Policy
All blindsbypost products are quality checked before dispatch but in the unlikely event that you experience any problems please contact our customer service team via eBay message.
You have 48 hours following receipt of your goods to report any damaged or defective goods due to manufacturing, or damage caused while being in the delivery process. We will deal with your queries promptly and if necessary arrange for a replacement to be sent. We reserve the right to ask for digital pictures with regards to the issues reported or to ask for the product to be returned to us for inspection. This does not affect your statutory rights.

As the items offered in this listing are Made to Measure (custom made) these would be subject to Distance Selling Regulations and we can accommodate returns.
