The Anwilka Vineyard is located in the red wine region of Helderberg in South Africa.  The vineyard was purchased in 1997 and is a joint venture between Bruno Prats of Chateau Cos d'Estournel, Hubert de Bouard de Laforest of Chateau Angelus in Bordeaux and Lowell Jooste of the Klein Constantia Estate.  The maiden Anwilka blend consists of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes.

This panel is a long narrow side panel from a ANWILKA wine crate.  It reads simply ANWILKA 2006.  The lettering has been burned into the wood.  It measures about 19 3/4" X 3 1/2" and is about 3/8" thick.  There are two nail holes on the right and left edges that are visible from the top.

Each panel may have light scratches and dings as well as nail hole damage. No panels will ever be perfect and many will have flaws because of the nature of wood.  Anything noteworthy has been listed in the individual descriptions of the panels below:
