DEVON LANDSCAPES AND TOWNS

This group of drawings continues the run of works by Hugh McKenzie and taken from one of his sketchbooks which we purchased at his studio sale.

This series is from his 1999 book and consists of studies drawn during his visit to Devon in 1999.    It includes a self portrait.

All are mounted on white acid free paper and then on acid free board and are in fine condition.

None are signed, but many have the locations annotated in the artist's hand.   Others were identified by a key written on the inside cover of the sketchbook.   All are guaranteed to be by him.

This river view is a watercolour of the mouth of the river Otter, near Budleigh, Devon.
