EZRA POUND’S PENNSYLVANIA book Noel Stock Imagism modernist poet 1976 w/ article

This is “EZRA POUND’S PENNSYLVANIA: COMPILED FOR THE MOST PART FROM MR. CARL GATTER'S RESEARCHES INTO ORIGINAL SOURCES AND DOCUMENTS," by Noel Stock, a previously-owned softcover book that runs 111 pages. It was published by The Friends of the University of Toledo Libraries in 1976 and is in great shape, though the small circular die-cut on the front cover has a tiny rip emanating from it.  There is also a newspaper article included (see picture).

Ezra Pound was an American expatriate poet, critic and a major figure of the early modernist movement. His contribution to poetry began with his promotion of Imagism, a movement that derived its technique from classical Chinese and Japanese poetry, stressing clarity, precision and economy of language. His best-known works include “Ripostes” (1912), “Hugh Selwyn Mauberley” (1920), and his unfinished 120-section epic, “The Cantos” (1917–1969)…

My Policies:

We offer several different shipping options and accept Paypal (and we do indeed combine shipping). We take pride in carefully packaging purchases -- almost always in bubble-wrap and/or specially-made boxes...

Customer satisfaction rules, and making sure customers conclude a gratifying transaction is what we aim for at Glass Eye Industries. We’ve been executing appraisals, working with liquidators and buying estates for well over two decades; we’re confident we know what we’re doing and we price fairly, based on availability, collectible-value and demand. All of our items are guaranteed -- to the best of our knowledge -- to be authentic and licensed pieces. In fact, we go to great lengths to accurately photograph, research and describe the items we sell.

We are very diligent -- with people checking product on the way in and the way out; however, on occasion, minute imperfections are sometimes unavoidable (hence, refunds can only be given in cases of complete misrepresentation).

We take feedback seriously… if you encounter a problem with your Ebay item once it is received, please contact us before leaving negative or neutral comments, and we will work through the problem. We always combine shipping, as we too are buyers (just like you!). We realize that postage prices have gone up substantially, as have the price of high-quality mailing envelopes and packaging materials; our shipping prices reasonably reflect that inflation. Please do not criticize and/or give us low marks for our “shipping and handling charges” after buying. If you do not agree with the shipping charge, simply do not buy. It’ll make it much easier for both of us...
