This is a  map group consisting of 3 map sets which show the Towns of Bronxville, East Chester & Tuckahoe, NY from 1910. (plates 9-10-11) Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment it is 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps! Please contact me with any questions!

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners and landowners around the Town of Bronxville, East Chester & Tuckahoe.  Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, only a portion of each map is shown. For better clarity each of the maps are split in half --East view and West view. Two views on two maps-- Nice set!!

Some of the estate or land owners which are clearly printed are Hewitt, Burke, Newman, Chambers, Bonner, Butler, Crane, Hunt, Archer, Shipman, Granger, Phelan, Brush and more!  In some cases it will show next to the owners name the amount of acres owned. Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. Please note that due to the vast area covered, the more heavily populated towns won't show homeowners names-- just not enough space to list them.

Some of the features on these maps are Reservoir #1, Reservoir #2 which is now Twin Lakes County Park which borders what is now Siwanoy Country Club, Mt Hope Cemetery, Bronx River, Lake Isle Country Club which was then called New Rochelle Water Company, Leewood Golf Club which was then land owned by Henry Newman and the Lakeshore & Southern Railroad Co.

It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!  Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!
