Viking Small Thor's Hammer with Rune Beads Pewter Pendant
DescriptionThe hammer of Thor, the god of thunder, was worn as an amulet for protection by his followers.The pewter pendant is made of fine nickel and lead-free pewter and is decorated with ancient Celtic knot-work and step pattern motifs.
The Viking Norse nickel and lead free pewter Rune beads on either side of pendant measure 12mm x 8mm. The Runes translate as "May The Gods Smile On You" .
The pewter pendant is made in the Scottish Highlands.
Reverse of pewter pendant is plain with rune markings on.
Either side of the pendant are 6mm round silver plated spacer beads,
with 9mm black wooden beads between the silver beads.
Our pendant comes on a 2mm leather cord with a silver plated lobster claw fastening.
The 2mm leather cord is approx. 46cms long.
Our small Thor's Hammer will come packaged in an Organza pouch.
