This is a Silly Dillies #2 Mini-Book with Matte Peach colored cover, I would grade it a VF/NM copy. It was released in gumball vending machines, made by M.B. Inc (Mini Book) in 1970. It is in Great shape, with a very small stain/speck on the front cover just left of the “S”, also an impression on the top edge, just above the speck, noticeable only on close inspection as seen in photos,  Covers are in EXCELLENT condition, much better appearance than the scanned photos show, which is greatly magnified. There is NO wax seal, book is FLAT, and I doubt it has ever been opened. See photos for condition and appearance.

There are a total of 52 pages, including covers. Inside pages are B&W with a joke on right page, answer on next page, usually with a small drawing on every other page.

Mini Books were released inside gumball vending machines from the early 1960's to the early 1970's. They may have also been sold by other means. They are considered the World's Smallest Comics. Each book measures 7/8" x 5/8" (22mm x 15mm). The earliest series I am aware of is a set of 3 called "Midget Books", each only had one color cover, but there are “Midget” and “Mijet” variations of each. The 1965 series (the Vending Machine Sign calls this series 3) included 5 joke books, "Tiny Tales", "Monster Laffs", "Silly Willies", "Fibs n' Squibs" and "Lil Kip", each with at least 6 different color covers, also released in 1965 was a set of three licensed "Hey, Culligan Man!" books. The famous 1966 series were 6 different licensed Marvel Comic characters, each in 6 different colors, "Spider-Man", "Hulk", "Thor", "Captain America", "Sgt. Nick Fury" and "Millie the Model". There are also VERY rare versions of the Marvel series with odd cover variations. In 1967 at least 3 different "Swinger Stickers" sticker books were released.  An undated series of Tattoo books with four different covers were released, each with at least 4 different color cover variations, they were probably released between 1968 and 1969. In 1969 a licensed set of 3 "Laugh-In" joke books were released, each in at least 3 color covers.  In 1970 another series of 15 numbered joke books were released, "Kwakups", "Silly Dillies", "Wise Kwaks", each numbered 1-5. This 1970 series was released with many cover variations. I have found at least 16 cover variations, 8 matte covers and 8 shiny covers including silver & gold shiny colors. Also in 1970, a series of Archie Comics was released. There were 5 books in the Archie series, each with 5 color variations.  In 1972 2 different "Archie Bunker for President" books were released. I do not know if there were color variations. Besides the well documented 1966 Marvel series, there is virtually no research on these books, and all info here is from my own research and my own collection. Any missing information is appreciated.
