Hilltop's ITUV shatterproof heat shrinkable sleeving is completely unaffected and transparent to UV Light, it can withstand high temperatures that can sometimes occur. This has made it the perfect material/sleeving for shatter proofing the bulbs.
The sleeving will not discolour and become brittle which is a common problem with lesser quality coatings. A transparent cross-linked polyolefin giving high levels of protection against splinters from accidental breakages.
