This ball & spring set is for the '39-'48 Ford top shift double detent tower part #81A-7222. This is a stock replacement set ( I do have  Hi-Perf sets available). The balls and springs are the same as the stock specs. The originals are usually weak & fatigued or sometimes even broke due to age. The center solid plunger just prevents both rails from moving at the same time and does not wear-out. "If your gonna rebuild it, rebuild it right!"  Auction is for the springs and balls only.
