This device requires third party software to read/write
smart cards which is not supplied with the device. This is
because there are many different types of smart cards and
each type of card needs it's own software to use with it,
sometimes you have to pay for the software, the smart card
reader/writer is for use with that software. There is no
software that can read/write all types of smart cards.
Especially we can not give any support with finding the
right smart card software for your card, or using that
software. We just sell the card reader/writer device.
The compact SCM3712 NFC contactless USB smart card reader works with all major ISO 14443 A&B smart cards and NFC labels in various form factors and NFC enabled smart phones. The USB interface in conjunction with the PC/SC drivers for multiple operating systems allow an easy and fast integration into different system solutions optimizing the time to market. The compact form factor with the integrated antenna allows integration even into devices with a small foot print and very much limited space.
In any case the SCM3712 Reader Boards are being embedded into terminals, vending machines, kiosks or any other final device.
