Up for auction is an original 100 year old advertising / ink blotter card for JAMES F. STEWART CO. - Lumber and Hardware in Jersey City. They learned rather quickly that putting a photo of a pretty lady on their advertising helped to increase the likelihood of it being looked at. So there she is... Mona, on the lumber and hardware advertisement. It has a copyright date of 1913.
The advertisement measures approximately 8.25" x 3.5".
When viewing the pictures of the auction item, please take note of the *actual measurements* of the item in description.
In some cases, photos are enlarged to show detail.
Condition as pictured. Please see photos for reference. Both top corners on the back have archival tape to help preserve.
