A great resource pack for you to print out and use over and over again.

The pack is designed to be used with the story ‘Fidgety Fish’ by Ruth Galloway but could also be used as part of a sea life/ under the sea topic.

Display resources 

·      Display banner- a long colourful banner with fish and other sea creatures and the title of the story

·      Colourful posters- of Fidgety Fish and the other sea creatures in the story

·      Story word cards- each card has an underwater scene

·      Underwater photos- Colour photos of underwater scenes- great for displays and discussion

·      Number bonds- Number bonds posters with number bonds to 10 and 20 on big fish

·      Magnetic fishing game- catch a number fish and write a sum on your fishy sheet with the same total.  This could also be used as a number recognition game

·      Colour by numbers worksheets- use the number code to colour your fishy pictures

·      Number worksheets- colour in the correct number of spots on each fish

Art and craft

·      Sea creature jigsaws- cut out and reassemble the sea scenes and then colour in

·      Make a jellyfish- trace the jellyfish body and make some tentacles

·      Playdough mats- make the extra parts to finish the sea scenes and sea creatures

·      Stick puppets- make your own sea creature stick puppets

·      Face masks- colour and decorate the face masks of sea creatures for retelling the story or making up your own stories
