This filter leads to sharpener and clearer images, reducing ghost images caused by IR radiation and the high sensitivity of camera sensors to this spectrum of light which has a negative impact on image sharpness.

Using this filter will mean greater detail, more natural colors and finer color gradation. It also serves as a permanent lens protector.

UV IR cut filter's effect is much more apparent when used in open air or in sunshine, to make images clearer and to creat a much stronger sense of depth.
