This item is 100g or 500g of Iron Filings bright, Technical Grade. This product is packaged in a heavy gauge plastic bag with a label affixed. This is then heat sealed in a second plastic bag for added protection during shipping. Items usually posted by Royal Mail in a jiffy bag.
These iron filings are ideal for magnetism experiments, golden sparks in pyrotechnics, and for creating an aged textured rust effect on sculptures (apply filings to surface coated in waterproof adhesive, allow to dry, wet with salt water, wait 1-5 days for effect to develop).
