Jerry and Turk were a successful comedy dance act who traveled around the country performing floor shows at various nightclubs.  They were described as the following in Billboard Magazine Apr. 21, 1945. “Jerry and Turk, a pair of slow-motion jitterbug hoofers (dancers), would be a good bet for a musical comedy.  Besides being high quality in their kind of terping, they bring the act to a conclusion with a raucously funny audience participation gag.  Crowd went for “em big”.

Photograph measures 8 x 10 inches and is in excellent condition with only four thumb tack holes and slight bends at the corners (see scan).  The image  has strong tones with great contrast and clarity.  Back identifies this couple as “Jerry and Turk” written in pencil.
