Translated from the Italian by L. Espinasse-Mongenet, which was started on February 1, 1945. Watermark (on each page at the lower corner) from Papeteries du Marais. Text printed in 1947 by Raymond Jacquet. 108 etchings by Edouard Goerg, painter, lithographer and engraver. Entire work completed on March 30, 1950.

 

CONDITION:

Loose portfolio pages in paper wrappers, card covers and slipcases. All of the etchings have tissue guards in excellent condition. No foxing or damage to pages; slight aging/toning to margins of page. Both hard covers are included. One Slipcase is in tact and in fair condition, the other slipcase only one side remains (see images).
