This handy little device will eliminate the check engine light caused by a faulty flex fuel sensor. This is a cost effective alternative to spending $700 or more on replacing the OEM or even aftermarket flex fuel sensor. The DSP Emulator Module installs easily in minutes and can eliminate error codes P0176 through P0179. It does this by outputting the signal the vehicle's computer needs. This device is designed for the following vehicles with 3.0l flex fuel engine:

FORD EXPLORER - 2001

FORD EXPLORER SPORT - 2001

FORD RANGER - (1999 - 2003)

FORD TAURUS - (1996 - 2006)

MAZDA B3000 - 2000

MERCURY MOUNTAINEER - 2001

MERCURY SABLE - (2001 - 2004)

Most people notice a slight increase in fuel economy and a smoother idle! You will only be able to run gasoline with a maximum 15% ethanol after installation, which is the normal unleaded gasoline. It doesn't void any smog or emissions systems!

To install follow the 4 easy steps:

-Step 1, disconnect the vehicles battery

-Step 2, unplug the electrical connector from flex fuel sensor. It is also a good idea to clean and inspect 

your vehicles flex fuel electrical plug. Clean and remove debris to make a good connection.

Dielectric grease is a good idea too. (leave the flex fuel sensor in place)

-Step 3, plug the electrical connector to the DSP Emulator Module.

-Step 4, reconnect the battery.

It’s just that easy!

We are committed to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase from DSP Electronics. If you have an issue with an item, you can exchange the product up to 120 days of the order date. Starting March 24th, 2014 – if the product packaging and seal have been opened the product will be considered used and not eligible for a refund.  Refunds are only given if the product is not used. A small restocking fee may be assessed in some cases. Shipping is non refundable. One exchange per order please. All exchanges or return shipping is paid by the buyer.
