The ProStart Fire Starter was designed as a multi-purpose lighter. It can be used as a fireplace lighter for homes without
natural gas , older homes with fireplaces that were installed before gas lighters were available or in homes where it just isn't economical to hook up a permanent gas lighter. Being a portable lighter it can also be used outdoors to get those charcoal grills started for those summer weekend barbecues.

Because of it's compact size and versatility it is a handy item to include in the camper or with the tent and campfire cooking utensils when we start out for those camping vacations or just a getaway camping weekend. That campground fire wood can be awful tough to get started.
