Tri-rated Cable panel wiring is a high temperature, flame retardant cable designed for use in the switch control, relay and instrument panels of power switchgear. It can also be used for automotive applications where high current capacity may be needed e.g charging systems/supply. It is sometimes referred to as BS6231. This cable is very versatile and can be used for most automotive and marine applications. This cable is 10mm 75A (See below: How to measure cable).

HOW TO MEASURE CABLE:

Please note that cables are measured by the CROSS SECTIONAL AREA OF COPPER CONDUCTOR and not the outside diameter of insulation or diameter of copper. For example, 1mm cable refers to the area of copper inside as if you are looking at the cut end of the cable. The outside diameter of 1mm insulation is actually 2.1mm.
