The FMC-1000MS-SM10  is a Gigabit Ethernet to singlemode fiber media converter using 1310nm 1000Base-LX transceiver for up to 10Km fiber range connections, LC connector and supporting web interface management.
 
Unit has an SFP(Small Form Pluggable) slot occupied by an 1310nm singlemode SFP transceiver module, Ethernet 1000Base-LX compatible, running up to 10Km range. The Copper interface is an auto negotiating 10/100/1000 Base-TX RJ45 interface with auto MDI/MDI-X detection.

  Unit has its own IP address allowing direct web management on unit, even on the standalone format (no bigger chassis required). FMC-1000MS-SM10 can allow diagnostics on the SFP module and several features including bandwidth management.

The FMC series media converters can be installed in the new FMC series chassis and can be managed through their own web based interface. Standalone FMC-1000MS-SM10 converter is powered by an external switching power supply adapter, input 90-260AC, output 12V DC, 1A, included in the box. Plug for AC line is US type, NEMA1-15(2 blades only). For professional 48V DC power requirements an FMC-CH08-DC rack 19" chassis solution is available.
