40.6" Hand Forged Sharp Japanese Samurai Sword Koganeiro Hebi Snake Katana

Description

The blade of the sword has been constructed from 1060 high carbon steel and has been heat treated. The sageo is white silk with golden shitodome. The tsuba has a Japanese Hebi snake theme. The short balance point of the sword makes it extremely responsive in its handling. The sword is appropriate for medium traditional targets. The Koganeiro Hebi katana is ideal for beginning to intermediate practitioners who seek a medium weight sword. The Katana includes a sword bag.

Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from 1060 carbon steel. An aesthetic hamon runs down the edge of the blade and a Bohi has been added to the blade in order to lighten it and provide audible feedback when swung. The blade is fully sharpened and sharp. The balance of blade is perfect.
Saya: The Saya is constructed from wood with a high gloss gold fish color. A white silk Sageo has been wrapped around the wooden Kurigata.
Guard: The Habaki is a one piece brass construction. The guard is a Japanese Hebi snake design constructed from metal.
Tsuka: The Fuchi & Kashira are both made of metal. The Tsuka core is wooden with white samegawa. Two gold Menuki are on each side of the Tsuka, which also features white silk itomaki.

Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied within 14 days of your original purchase date, simply send it back to us. We will refund your purchase price, less shipping and handling cost. The original shipping and handling fee paid is non-refundable and you will be responsible for the return shipping.
All presumed defective or wrong items must obtain an authorization before returning.
