The wok is just about the most versatile cooking pan there is. It is used most for stir frying, but you can also use it for shallow frying, deep frying, steaming, making Chinese soups, and even smoking food with wood chips or tea leaves. You need the wok lid to do smoking, of course.
The long single handle enables you to hold the wok steady with one hand while holding whatever you are stirring with in the other.
We supply two main shapes of wok. The round bottom wok is more suited to use in commercial kitchens, or cookers with a really good gas burner that can hold a round shape.

Making a Purchase

Delivery Schedule
Upon receiving your order Tradewinds Oriental Shop aim to process and dispatch your order within 2 business working days. Typical delivery time is between 3-5 days.
We will endeavour to meet the dispatch time as per our delivery schedule. If due to unforeseen circumstances there is a delay in dispatching goods from our warehouse we will contact you and advise you of the revised schedule.
Back Orders
If an item is out of stock we will contact you giving you the option of either cancelling the purchase of the item or placing it as a back order.

Tradewinds Oriental Shop does not disclose buyers information to third parties other than for goods delivery purposes in which case the third party will not disclose any of the details.
Returns Policy
Faulty goods or goods supplied different to that which was ordered should be returned to us within fourteen days in the original packaging. Please message us at with your name, order number, and details of the issue. We will then advise you of which method to return goods by and a full refund of postage costs will be given.
Goods that are not faulty but you would still like a refund must be returned to us within fourteen days. The goods must be in original and resalable condition. On receipt of goods we will immediately issue a refund unfortunately we are unable to refund any postage return costs incurred by yourself. Items returned should be sent to us at the address shown on the invoice. The invoice should also be enclosed and returned with the goods.
At the time you dispatch goods by our preferred return method we advise that you obtain and retain in a safe place proof of posting.
