The SFS-7020-WD is a WDM D type, single strand fiber, Gigabit Ethernet SFP (Small Form Pluggable) 1.25G optical module. D type means Tx:1490nm and RX: 1310nm.
The SFP is designed to avoid 1550nm wavelength so that it can be installed on a shared single strand fiber running already 1550nm.

 

It operates as WDM BiDirectional Gigabit speed, covering a range of 10Km singlemode single strand fiber optic circuit. It can be used in any modern Ethernet switch equipped with SFP (miniGBIC) slots, as well as on any of the fiber optic media converters with SFP slot provided on eBay by sales_fo4all. Module works in pair only with another WDM C type equipment (Tx:1310nm/Rx:1490nm).

!! Note: One WDM 1490nm module operates in pair with a complementary WDM 1490nm module only. WDM 1490nm modules are C and D type. This item is WDM D type and works only with another WDM C type equipment at the other end of the single strand fiber. The other equipment is not necessary from same series or same SFP type, it can be a GBIC module or built in WDM C transceiver module, but it MUST be a C type equipment.
