Fitting Instructions:

Step 1: Remove 2 x 'top mounting brackets' and 1 x 'front retaining plate' from your battery tray.

Step 2: Choose an area under you ute tray with an area of 370mm long x 190mm wide that is free from obstructions.  (if you are not mounting the battery tray near to an outside edge of your ute tray, make sure you allow sufficient space to be able to place your battery into the battery tray when it is mounted)

Step 3: From the underneath of your ute tray hold the battery tray up against the surface you are mounting to and mark holes to drill (centre distance of length must be 291mm, centre distance of width can be between 65 and 125mm wide) (check your measurements by holding the threaded rod section of the 'top mounting brackets' against your markings)

Step 4: Using a 10mm drill bit, drill through the floor of your tray. Prime any areas of exposed steel.

Step 5: From the top of your ute tray, insert the threaded rod section of the 'top mounting brackets' into the holes you have drilled and push through untill the flat part of the bracket is sitting on the floor of the ute tray.

Step 6: Now from underneath the ute tray you can place your battery tray up to the protruding threaded rods and secure firmly using the provided Nyloc nuts and washers.

Step 7: You can now place your battery inside the battery tray and fit the 'front retaining plate' onto the front of you r battery tray to secure your battery in place. (there are 3 slots to choose from when positioning your 'front retaining plate'. Depending on the width of your battery, choose the slot that lets the 'front retaining plate sit the flattest against the front of your battery with a reasonable amount of pressure applied).

We recommend you apply Loctite to all bolts when fitting.
