This week, we're offering an exquisitely detailed superdeformed model kit of "Flotsam," one of the lovable Fix-It UFOs from the magical 1987 film *batteries not included, also known in some markets as Miracle on 8th Street.
This ultra-rare miniature resin kit was sculpted and manufactured in the late 1980s by Eichi Mogi, owner of the renowned garage kit company, Monster Shop, in Japan. Mogi's superdeformed kits were produced in very small production runs and sold for one day only exclusively at Wonderfest, the yearly hobby convention held in Tokyo.
This intricate miniature measures approximately ONE INCH in diameter and comes UNASSEMBLED and UNPAINTED, requiring above-average modeling skills to complete. We've included a photo of a completed kit to show one possible paint job.
Condition is MINT and is guaranteed to be an original casting, NOT a recast.
