 This shift light is an ideal accessory for every car enthusiast interested in that easy option for a shift light. Each shift light is housed in a strong black metal pod and is a standalone unit that can be wired up to any vehicle with a 4, 6, or 8 cylinder petrol engine. It has only a three wire connection making for a fast and easy installation to the vehicles coil or tach signal wire. (It may be necessary to install a tach adapter for multiple coil applications.) The unit is easily adjustable using the dial on the back of the light allowing you to select between 1,000 to 11,000 rpms. When you are at or above the desired rpm range as selected on the dial, the unit will flash indicating it is time to shift up
