This is SUPERB example of the maker's work with indication of taking 1st price in 1889 Paris competition. This instrument carrying the maker's inscription pointing to the order for 16th birthday of the noble man. The workmanship of this instrument is of the highest technical and artistic level. The violin is in a near perfect state of preservation with a wonderful tone, superb carrying power, suitable for a solo performer. This instrument will be sold with a certificate of authenticity.
