Gently remove and install your 1 1/8" headsets with these simple tools. Includes a headset cup removal tool, headset press and crown race setting toolset.
The aluminum press drivers are intended to install typical sealed bearing style headsets ( Chris King, Cane Creek, FSA, etc. ). I have used it on older style headset cups and some press in type bottom bracket cups with good results.
The removal tool is an expanded DOM tube with a mild steel striking surface, and will work for 1" and 1 1/8" headset cups.
The crown race setting tool is designed for 1" and 1 1/8" King style races, and will work for many similar parts. A 12" ABS plastic tube is included for setting the race with a soft hammer or mallet. I have found that setting the race does not require much force, but it is important that the force is applied evenly.
Tools will work on up to an 8 1/2" head tube. Press drivers for 1.5" headsets as well as a complete 1.5" toolset are available in other listings.
I have single 1.5" drivers available in another listing for use with 1.5"/1 1/8" tapered headsets. I can substitute one 1.5" driver at no additional cost for use with tapered systems. Just let me know what you need.
