Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the Town of Ashburnham as well as the towns or villages of North Ashburnham, South Ashburnham, Lane Village, Blackburn Village and Welville.  The first map (shown) is that of the entire township of Ashburnham which also contains inset maps of Blackburn Village and South Ashburnham. The second map shows downtown Ashburnham and has 3 inset maps of Lane Village, Welville and North Ashburnham. Two views on two maps-- Nice set!!

Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are White, Rockwood, Kibling, Burrage, Russell, Thomas, Moore, Adams, Butler, Hadley, Howard, Newell, Foster and so many more that it's impossible to list! The names shown are indeed very small yet can be read. Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams. It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!

What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!  Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge! These maps make wonderful gifts and really are quite the conversation piece.
