ANTIQUE CERAMIC FIGURINE

 "THE BLUE BOY"

This large antique figurine measures 10 3/4 inches in height, The figure is inspired from the famous Thomas Gainsborough painting of "The Blue Boy" I can't identify the manufacture but likely Continental from the early 19th century.

Condition A small chip to the base [see last photo] his hat, shoes and cloak are cold painted and have patches of paint loss particularly to the back of the cloak [please view photos]
